Combine With
Thyme combines well with liquorice for coughs.
Directions for Use
Half to one teaspoon to one cup of boiling water. Brew for 10 minutes. Strain. Drink up to three cups daily.
Precautions
Avoid in pregnancy and lactation.
Notes on the Herb
Thyme is a superb chest remedy for bronchitis, chest infections, coughs and asthma. It has a marked anti-fungal action and is a generally stimulating and strengthening herb. See also under aromatic waters and creams. Suitable for children.
